Monophonics: Promises / Strange Love Vinyl 7"｜ Other Products

Heavyweight soul from the Bay Area's Monophonics! The sound here is on par with some of the deepest 60's/70's cuts, melding psychedelic soul with a cinematic touch. Think Stax, the Beach Boys, or something the RZA might flip for the next Wu-banger. Check the sound on "Strange Love" and "Promises." If you dig on the Truth & Soul stuff, you owe it to yourself to peep this West Coast act. Recommended.
